President Aliyev Meets Slovak Prime Minister in Bratislava

Bratislava: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a one-on-one meeting with Robert Fico, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, in Bratislava on December 9. The leaders discussed the development of the Azerbaijan-Slovakia strategic partnership and expressed optimism about the future of bilateral relations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting highlighted the significance of Prime Minister Robert Fico’s previous visit to Azerbaijan and President Aliyev’s current visit to Slovakia. Both leaders agreed that these exchanges would contribute to strengthening the bilateral ties between their nations.

The discussion also acknowledged the robust political relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia and the potential for cooperation in various sectors. Prime Minister Fico offered his congratulations to President Aliyev on the progress made in advancing the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

President Aliyev, in turn, expressed gratitude for the support and reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to promoting regional peace. The meeting also touched on the involvement of a Slovak company in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories and explored future collaboration opportunities.
