Washington: President Ilham Aliyev has expressed his appreciation for the 'Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity' (TRIPP), highlighting its role in enhancing connectivity and regional cooperation. In a congratulatory letter to U.S. President Donald Trump on his 80th birthday, Aliyev emphasized the significance of TRIPP in linking the main territory of Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan through the Middle Corridor.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Aliyev's letter also acknowledged President Trump's efforts in advancing peace in the South Caucasus. The Trilateral Joint Declaration, signed in Washington, and the initialing of the Agreement on Establishment of Peace and Inter-State Relations with Armenia were cited as key milestones resulting from Trump's consistent peacebuilding efforts. By ensuring unobstructed connectivity, TRIPP is viewed as a vital element in fostering sustainable peace and cooperation across the region.
