Azerbaijani Delegation to Attend Key UNESCO Events in Paris

Paris: An Azerbaijani delegation, led by Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, is set to participate in a series of events at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. The delegation's itinerary includes meetings with key UNESCO figures such as Director-General Khaled El-Enany, Chairperson of the UNESCO Executive Board Nasser bin Hamad Al Hinzab, and President of the 43rd UNESCO General Conference Khondker M. Talha.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation will engage in an information session focused on the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and the 11th session of the General Assembly of the States Parties to the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. These sessions are designed to foster dialogue on cultural heritage protection and international cultural and humanitarian collaboration.

The visit is primarily aimed at exploring prospects for strengthening Azerbaijan-UNESCO cooperation, particularly in the areas of cultural heritage protection and international collaboration. The Azerbaijani delegation's engagements are expected to facilitate discussions that could enhance bilateral relations and support shared cultural objectives.
