Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has addressed a congratulatory letter to His Majesty Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, on the occasion of the country's national holiday. The letter was reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his congratulations to the Sultan and the people of Brunei Darussalam, acknowledging the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Brunei. The letter highlighted the current level of bilateral relations, which are based on friendship and mutual respect, and the President's belief in the continuation of joint efforts to strengthen interstate ties and expand cooperation.

The message also included President Aliyev's felicitations on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing the Sultan and the people of Brunei health, happiness, success, lasting peace, and prosperity.
