President Aliyev’s Speech Highlights Azerbaijan’s Strategic Goals and National Security

Baku:A roundtable discussing President Ilham Aliyev's speech at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party was held on October 6. The event, organized by the Academy of Public Administration under the President and the Baku Political Scientists Club, focused on the key messages delivered by the President, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the roundtable began with introductory remarks by Urkhan Alakbarov, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration. The discussion was moderated by Zaur Mammadov, Adviser to the Rector and Chairman of the Baku Political Scientists Club.

Participants exchanged views on President Aliyev's speech, which outlined Azerbaijan's domestic and foreign policy priorities, strategic goals, regional developments, national security, and public administration strategies. The speech was seen as a crucial roadmap for society, state structures, and political groups.

The discussions emphasized new tasks for Azerbaijan following the restoration of its territorial integrity and state sovereignty, highlighting the importance of strengthening the state, protecting national interests, ensuring security, fostering economic development, and enhancing Azerbaijan's international standing.
