Baku: The Protocol on the Provision of Financial Assistance to the Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Republic of Azerbaijan has been approved. This agreement, which is between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine, was confirmed through a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree outlines that once the Protocol is in effect, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan is tasked with implementing its provisions. Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan is responsible for informing the Government of the State of Palestine that all necessary domestic procedures for the Protocol's enactment have been completed.

The decree was officially signed in Baku on July 10, 2026.
