Munich: President Ilham Aliyev has declared the onset of a period of peace following the signing of a significant document at the White House. During an interview with a correspondent from France 24 TV channel, President Aliyev expressed hope that this newfound peace will be enduring. The event, witnessed by the President of the United States, marks the end of conflict, as highlighted by President Aliyev in the interview.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the importance of the Joint Declaration, which was also signed by the U.S. President as a witness. He noted that over six months have passed since this agreement, resulting in a notably quiet situation along the border with Armenia. President Aliyev remarked that there have been no shootings, victims, or injuries reported during this time, underscoring the effectiveness of the declaration in maintaining peace in the region.
