President Ilham Aliyev Approves Amendments to CIS Interstate Search Agreement

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has officially approved a protocol that amends the Agreement on the Interstate Search for Persons. This agreement, originally dated December 10, 2010, involves participating states within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the protocol was approved through a formal decree issued by President Aliyev. This move signifies Azerbaijan's commitment to enhancing cooperation among CIS member states in matters related to the search for persons across borders. The amendments aim to update and improve the existing framework, ensuring more efficient collaboration and coordination among the participating countries.
