Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has formally approved the 'State Program for the Development of Tourism in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030'. This initiative aims to introduce competitive tourism products to the market, enhance governance and regulation in the tourism sector, encourage regional tourism development, and ensure effective branding and marketing activities.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the program is designed to boost Azerbaijan's tourism industry through strategic improvements and initiatives. The government seeks to establish a framework that will enhance the country's appeal as a destination by focusing on innovation and regional growth, while also improving the overall regulatory environment for tourism.
