President Ilham Aliyev: Armenian State Bears Full Responsibility for the Khojaly Genocide

Baku: "The Khojaly genocide is a bloody war crime committed by the Armenian state, by Armenian fascists, against the Azerbaijanis - against humanity; it is a war crime against humanity," President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said during his meeting with the representatives of the Khojaly district community.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized that the Armenian state bears full responsibility for the tragic events. He highlighted that in a single night, over 600 innocent civilians, including 106 women and 63 children, were brutally murdered by what he referred to as Armenian fascists. Additionally, 150 individuals went missing, with the presumption that they were also victims of the Armenian forces. The president pointed out that the remains of some of these missing individuals were discovered following the occupation and subsequently laid to rest.
