Tashkent: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Uzbekistan at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The visit is to participate in the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev was received with a guard of honor at Tashkent International Airport. The Azerbaijani President was welcomed by Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdualla Aripov and other officials upon his arrival.
