Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended his congratulations to President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nauseda, in a letter marking Lithuania's national holiday. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his sincere congratulations on behalf of both himself and the Azerbaijani people. He emphasized the friendly and cooperative relations that unite Azerbaijan and Lithuania. President Aliyev conveyed his belief in the potential for further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two nations, which he noted have a foundation of good traditions. In his letter, President Aliyev also wished President Nauseda robust health and success in his endeavors, while expressing hopes for everlasting peace and prosperity for the people of Lithuania.
