President Ilham Aliyev Congratulates Tajik President on Independence Day

Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has addressed a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter highlights President Aliyev’s best wishes on behalf of both himself and the people of Azerbaijan. He expresses his joy over Tajikistan’s social and economic achievements and its growing international reputation under President Rahmon’s leadership. President Aliyev underscores the strong relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, which have developed into a strategic partnership based on mutual respect and trust.

The letter also mentions the favorable conditions created by mutual understanding at the highest level, which facilitate the expansion of relations across various fields. President Aliyev recalls President Rahmon’s participation in the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization held in Khankendi and their meeting during the event. He expresses confidence in further advancing the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries through joint efforts.

President Aliyev concludes the letter by wishing President Rahmon good health, happiness, success, and peace and prosperity for the people of Tajikistan.
