Azerbaijani President Sends Independence Day Greetings to North Macedonia

Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has extended his congratulations to Madame Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, on the occasion of the nation’s Independence Day. The message was conveyed through a letter.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his personal congratulations and those of the Azerbaijani people to President Siljanovska-Davkova and the citizens of North Macedonia. He emphasized the positive dynamics in the relations between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia, noting that the ties are based on solid foundations and that the two nations’ cooperative efforts are mutually beneficial.

President Aliyev highlighted the significance of President Siljanovska-Davkova’s official visit to Azerbaijan in March, which he said injected new momentum into the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries. He pointed out the potential for further deepening bilateral cooperation across various sectors, facilitated by strong political relations and active dialogue.

In his message, President Aliyev expressed optimism about the future development and strengthening of the friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia. He conveyed his best wishes for robust health, happiness, and success to President Siljanovska-Davkova, and peace and prosperity to the people of North Macedonia.
