Baku: Azerbaijan can be considered one of the safest on a global scale, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated in an interview with local television channels, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted several factors that contribute to Azerbaijan's appeal to tourists. Notably, he announced that Shahdag will host the World Skiing Championship for the first time in two months. He emphasized Azerbaijan's unique geographical position as a southern country with easily accessible beaches, enhancing its attractiveness as a tourist destination.

President Aliyev also mentioned the Sea Breeze development project, which stands out due to its comprehensive integration of hotel recreation, entertainment, and housing. He remarked on the project's unparalleled capacity and scope, noting that nothing similar exists elsewhere in the world.
