Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has called for Iranian officials to provide an explanation and issue an apology to Azerbaijan following a drone attack on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. During a Security Council meeting, President Aliyev described the incident as an act of terror committed by Iran against Azerbaijan.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the unmanned aerial vehicles targeted civilian facilities, prompting a strong condemnation from Azerbaijan. President Aliyev insisted that those responsible for the attack must be held accountable. He emphasized the necessity for Iran to offer an explanation and apology, as well as to ensure that the individuals involved face criminal charges.
