Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has informed Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics about the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, APA reports. President Aliyev provided these updates during a press statement with President Rinkevics on April 22.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that there is already a de facto peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He noted that the leaders of both countries were invited to the White House last year, where a Joint Declaration was signed. Furthermore, the document's text was initialed by the foreign ministers, highlighting progress in the peace process.
