Berlin: President Ilham Aliyev touched upon relations with the European Union at a joint press conference with Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted recent interactions with EU leaders as pivotal developments. He mentioned visits to Azerbaijan by President of the European Council Mr. Costa and President of the European Commission Ms. Ursula von der Leyen. These visits are seen as politically significant and are expected to enhance Azerbaijan's ties with the European Union.
