Azerbaijan: Azerbaijan approaches cooperation with Central Asian countries with responsibility and great enthusiasm, President Ilham Aliyev said at the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, APA's special correspondent reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed gratitude for the significant role played by the leadership of Uzbekistan in facilitating Azerbaijan's participation as a full-fledged member in the consultative meetings of Central Asian countries. He highlighted the symbolic nature of the decision being made in Tashkent, underlining the personal efforts that ensured Azerbaijan's active involvement in the regional dialogue.
President Aliyev noted the progress already made through recent collaborative meetings, such as the one held in Kyrgyzstan.
