Khankendi: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has declared the 'Great Return' Program as the most successfully implemented return program on a global scale. He made this statement during a meeting with residents of the Karkijahan settlement in the city of Khankendi.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the gradual return of former displaced persons to their ancestral lands, including the recent return to Karkijahan. He emphasized the ongoing nature of this return process and its significance for the people involved.

The President acknowledged the challenging circumstances endured by these individuals over the years, both physically and emotionally.
