President Ilham Aliyev Highlights Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan’s Commitment to OTS

Tashkent: President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the strategic importance of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in an interview with the Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA), as reported by APA. He stated that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan regard the OTS as more than just a platform for interstate cooperation. Instead, they see it as a significant association that preserves and promotes their shared history, culture, and spiritual values for future generations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the joint efforts of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in advancing political dialogue and economic cooperation within the OTS framework. He noted that the collaboration extends into various sectors, including transport and logistics connectivity, as well as education, science, culture, and humanitarian affairs. This collaboration further strengthens the integration among Turkic states, fostering a deeper connection and understanding among them.
