Baku: Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has emphasized the country's support for the reconstruction and development efforts in Turkey as a testament to the strong ties between the two nations. In a letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Aliyev detailed Azerbaijan's involvement in the reconstruction of the Kahramanmaras province, specifically mentioning the construction of the 'Azerbaijan' neighborhood.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev's letter was sent on the third anniversary of the earthquake that hit Turkey in 2023. He underscored the actions taken by Azerbaijan as part of its fraternal duty, highlighting the strong and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
President Aliyev also expressed confidence in the enduring unity and strategic alliance between the two countries. He stated that the partnership, encapsulated in the philosophy of "One nation, two states," will continue to foster prosperity for both peoples and contribute to regional stability, security, and sustainable development.
