Baku: “Today, the whole world is speaking about Azerbaijan,” said President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with residents of the Badara, Dashbulag, Seyidbeyli, and Shushakand villages in the Khojaly district on September 15.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the unique position of Azerbaijan on the global stage, highlighting the country’s sacrifices and victories. He remarked that Azerbaijan is unparalleled in its struggle for its native land, having shed blood and sacrificed lives to achieve victory. He expressed that whether another nation with such dedication and resilience will ever emerge remains to be seen.

President Aliyev attributed the nation’s success to the collective will of the people, their deep-rooted attachment to their homeland, and their unwavering fighting spirit. He noted that the victory was not just a military triumph but also a strategic one, as Azerbaijan compelled the adversary to sign an act of capitulation. This act, he indicated, was a step towards ensuring lasting peace and preventing the recurrence of war.
