President Ilham Aliyev Highlights Progress in Energy Cable Collaborations

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev announced significant advancements in energy cable projects during his address at the 31st Baku Energy Forum's opening ceremony.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the near completion of the feasibility study for the Black Sea Energy Cable. This project is set to connect Azerbaijan to Georgia and extend under the Black Sea to reach Romania, Hungary, and several other countries.

The President also mentioned another ongoing initiative, the onshore electric cable, which will link Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkiye, and Bulgaria. This project is currently in the implementation phase, reflecting Azerbaijan's commitment to enhancing regional energy connectivity.
