Azerbaijani and Uzbek Energy Ministers Discuss Expanding Energy Cooperation

Baku: A meeting was held between Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Uzbekistan's Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov on the sidelines of the Baku Energy Forum, the Ministry told APA-Economics. The discussions focused on strengthening the ties between the two countries in the energy sector.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ministers expressed satisfaction with the current state of energy cooperation and positively assessed the dynamics of oil and petrochemical product supplies. The meeting provided a platform to explore opportunities for expanding trade in these products and the implementation of the Ustyurt geological exploration project.

Additionally, the meeting featured an exchange of views on the Central Asia-Azerbaijan Green Energy Corridor, highlighting the commitment of both nations to further enhance their collaborative efforts in the energy sector.
