According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev is on a working visit to Egypt to participate in the Middle East Peace Summit. The summit was organized at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. The discussion between the Azerbaijani President and the Armenian Prime Minister took place in this context.
