Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Yagub Eyyubov on October 22 and presented him with the ‘Istiglal’ Order. President Aliyev acknowledged Yagub Eyyubov’s contributions to Azerbaijan’s development, highlighting his long service in various responsible positions.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev praised the trust placed in Eyyubov by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and reiterated his own confidence by reappointing Eyyubov as First Deputy Prime Minister repeatedly. President Aliyev expressed satisfaction with Eyyubov’s dedication and loyalty, commending his proactive approach and responsibility in executing presidential instructions. The ‘Istiglal’ Order was awarded to Eyyubov as recognition of his great service to the state.

Upon receiving the award, Yagub Eyyubov expressed gratitude to President Aliyev and shared memories of his relationship with National Leader Heydar Aliyev. He emphasized the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty under President Aliyev’s leadership, praising him as a highly skilled and exceptional leader admired by the nation and the world.
