President Ilham Aliyev Inaugurates SCADA Control Center in Yevlakh

Yevlakh: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration of the Central Aran Regional SCADA Control Center of ‘Azerishig’ OJSC in Yevlakh.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Chairman of ‘Azerishig’ OJSC Vugar Ahmadov briefed the president on the Center’s capabilities. The Control Center is set to manage power supply efficiently for agricultural zones, critical state facilities, and public institutions. It features two 6.3 MVA power transformers and modern switchgear systems.

A 14-kilometer power line connects the ‘Yevlakh’ substation with the SCADA Control Center, integrating several substations such as ‘Delimammadli,’ ‘Kurekchay,’ and others for real-time monitoring. The Center is designed to digitally control and manage power networks, employing innovative data processing technologies.

The project introduces digital measurement transformers and advanced equipment, aiming to improve network reliability while cutting energy losses and operational costs. Consumers will receive online notifications of planned outages, and the Center supports the integration of green energy into the grid. It also includes facilities for remote operations and fast-charging stations for electric vehicles.
