Kalbajar: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has laid the foundation stone for the Kalbajar City Park, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the new park complex is designed according to the city’s master plan and will span approximately 11 hectares. This area will include around 9 hectares dedicated to green spaces. The park is set to feature zones specifically for public and cultural events, sports and wellness activities, and entertainment and extreme adventure zones for children.

The project also includes plans for constructing an above-ground parking lot, a rail sled track, restaurants, caf©s, an amphitheater, and additional essential infrastructure. On August 21, President Ilham Aliyev officially commenced the project by laying the foundation stone.
