Gabala: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with Binali Yildirim, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), during Yildirim’s visit to Gabala on October 6.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting between President Aliyev and Binali Yildirim was marked by a warm recollection of previous encounters and Yildirim’s earlier visits to Azerbaijan. Yildirim expressed his appreciation for President Aliyev’s support of the OTS’s activities, and he highlighted the Council of Elders’ commitment to fostering cooperation among Turkic states.

The conversation also touched upon the significance of the forthcoming 12th Summit of the OTS Council of Heads of State. There was a shared confidence that the event, like other international gatherings hosted by Azerbaijan, would be well-organized. Furthermore, the dialogue emphasized the ongoing strengthening of fraternal and strategic allied relations between Azerbaijan and Trkiye in various areas.
