According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Zhang Guoqing conveyed President Xi Jinping's greetings, highlighting the friendship between the Chinese and Azerbaijani leaders. President Aliyev reciprocated with his greetings and acknowledged the importance of the relationship, appreciating President Xi Jinping's view of him as a friend of China.
Discussions included the 13th Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), where Zhang Guoqing participated, underscoring China's commitment to the global urbanization agenda and congratulating Azerbaijan for hosting the prestigious event.
