Baku: On June 2, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Ali Pervaiz Malik, Minister for Petroleum of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, APA reports. During their meeting, the leaders revisited the recent trilateral meeting that took place in Lachin involving the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Trkiye, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. They described the gathering as a testament to the brotherhood and solidarity shared among the three nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the conversation highlighted the robust development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Both parties acknowledged the significance of cooperation in various sectors, with particular emphasis on the energy sector. They underscored the importance of the 30th Anniversary International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and the 13th Caspian International Power and Green Energy Exhibition, which were integral components of the Baku Energy Week. These events were praised for their role in enhancing global cooperation in the energy sector.

The dialogue further explored potential avenues for mutual collaboration in the domains of energy and renewable energy.
