Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Delcy Rodr­guez over the earthquake in the country, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter expressed President Aliyev's sympathy and support to the people of Venezuela. The president conveyed his sorrow for the loss of life and the destruction caused by the natural disaster. He assured Rodr­guez of Azerbaijan's solidarity during this challenging time.

President Aliyev also extended his condolences to the families who lost loved ones and wished a swift recovery to those injured. The letter highlighted Azerbaijan's willingness to provide support and assistance to help Venezuela in its recovery efforts following the earthquake.
