Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has officially received Bernard J¶rg Leopold de Garcia Klingl, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Azerbaijan. The meeting took place on July 17, where the ambassador presented his credentials to President Aliyev.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, following the presentation of credentials, President Ilham Aliyev engaged in a discussion with Ambassador Klingl. During this conversation, the President highlighted the positive trajectory of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Brazil. He stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including politics, economy, trade, investment, and tourism, while also emphasizing the need for increased interactions at multiple levels.
President Aliyev expressed his best wishes for Ambassador Klingl’s success in his diplomatic mission, expressing confidence that his tenure would foster further development in the relations between Azerbaijan and Brazil.
Ambassador Bernard J¶rg Leopold de Garcia Klingl expressed his honor at being appointed to Azerbaijan and meeting the President. He commended the existing diplomatic relations between the two nations and praised the successful cooperation in the context of the Conference of the Parties (COP).
Moreover, Ambassador Klingl assured that he would dedicate his efforts to further enhancing bilateral relations during his term. Both parties acknowledged the successful collaboration within international organizations and reiterated their strong commitment to multilateral diplomacy.
