Baku: President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Denis Sassou-Nguesso, President of the Republic of the Congo, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Congo’s independence.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his pleasure in observing the growing relations between Azerbaijan and the Congo, highlighting that recent visits by President Sassou-Nguesso to Azerbaijan have significantly boosted bilateral cooperation. The message emphasized the establishment of friendly relations, which have paved the way for mutually beneficial collaboration in political, economic, humanitarian, and other sectors.

President Aliyev also conveyed his optimism about the future of Azerbaijan-Congo ties, expressing a commitment to further strengthen and deepen cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral fronts.
