Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has hinted at the possibility of organizing rowing competitions at the Sarsang reservoir in the future. "Azerbaijan offers excellent seaside recreation and ski resorts, supported by advanced infrastructure," said President Aliyev during an event focused on the sports achievements expected by 2025.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the head of state highlighted the country's modern connectivity facilitated by roads, railways, and nine international airports. He noted that significant infrastructure projects are currently underway in the Garabagh and East Zangazur regions. Competitions are already being conducted at the Kondalanchay and Sugovushan reservoirs, and similar activities may soon be seen at the Sarsang reservoir. The president emphasized that these developments positively impact the sports sector in Azerbaijan.
