Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed his appreciation for the efforts of former U.S. President Donald Trump in aiding peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He made these remarks during the awarding ceremony of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted that the past six months have seen significant partnership and cooperation, following a historical summit in Washington hosted by Trump. This period has marked progress towards a long-lasting peace between the two nations. During his speech, Aliyev specifically acknowledged Trump's contributions to this peace process.
