Islamabad: Azerbaijani Navy Commander Shahin Mammadov has paid a visit to Pakistan, APA reports, citing a post published on the Pakistani Navy's X account. During the visit, Shahin Mammadov met with Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf at the Pakistan Air Force Headquarters in Islamabad.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the commanders discussed security, joint exercises, and cooperation in the defense sector. They also agreed to strengthen cooperation between the navies of Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
