Shusha: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has issued a stern warning to Armenia regarding its continued blockade of the Zangezur corridor. Speaking at the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, Aliyev stated that Armenia’s chances of becoming a transit country will diminish to zero if it persists in obstructing the corridor’s opening.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Aliyev highlighted that no progress has been made by Armenia concerning the Zangezur corridor in the past five years. This delay is seen as a deliberate attempt to remove the issue from the agenda. Aliyev warned that if Armenia continues this obstruction, it will not only face transport isolation but also political isolation to some extent.
