Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s official visit to Germany remains high on the global media agenda. The reports published across the international media landscape focused on enhancing Azerbaijan-Germany cooperation, the signing of the Joint Declaration on a Strategic Agenda for the Bilateral Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Republic of Germany, the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council, as well as the press statements delivered by President Ilham Aliyev and Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Niklas Wagner, Director for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, and Black Sea Cooperation of the German Foreign Office, made a post on his official X account praising the signing of the Joint Declaration on a Strategic Agenda for the Bilateral Partnership between Azerbaijan and Germany. Wagner stated, “Today we deepened the strong relations between Germany and Azerbaijan with a Strategic Agenda. We will work on intensifying our cooperation across different sectors and welcome the historic momentum in the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” and he shared the full text of the Declaration.
