Tashkent: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has embarked on a significant state visit to Uzbekistan, marking a pivotal moment in the diplomatic relations between the two countries. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the President, along with the First Lady of Azerbaijan, laid flowers at the bas-relief of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Tashkent, symbolizing the enduring legacy and influence of the national leader in fostering international camaraderie. The visit also saw President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan being awarded the prestigious "Heydar Aliyev" Order, underscoring the deepening ties and mutual appreciation between the two countries.
