Nakhchivan: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has affirmed that the creation of the Zangezur Corridor was an initiative spearheaded by his administration. This corridor aims to connect the main part of Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan, which the president described as an integral part of the nation. In an interview with Azerbaijan Television conducted in Nakhchivan, President Aliyev expressed that establishing this connection has been a long-standing aspiration for the country.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the strategic approach taken towards achieving this goal. He highlighted the step-by-step progress made toward realizing the corridor, which is now nearing completion with a sense of confidence and skillful execution.
