Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has announced a significant enhancement in trade relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Speaking at the awarding ceremony of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, President Aliyev highlighted recent developments in the bilateral relationship between the two nations.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev noted that the past six months have been crucial for advancing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He pointed out that Azerbaijan has not only lifted restrictions on cargo transportation through its territory to Armenia but has also commenced exporting oil products to the neighboring country.
In his remarks, President Aliyev emphasized the initiation of cooperative efforts, stating that Azerbaijan is actively working on increasing trade relationships with Armenia. He mentioned a recent meeting with his Armenian counterpart to discuss future steps in strengthening these ties, underscoring the collaborative spirit between the two nations.
