Astana: Within the framework of the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have similar positions on promoting interfaith dialogue and strengthening trust between peoples and states. The Kazakh head of state expressed confidence that promoting interfaith understanding and mutual cooperation will become a solid foundation for long-term partnership between the two countries.
