Baku: President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini, currently on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku on July 15. The President honored the Azerbaijani heroes who lost their lives for the nation's independence and territorial integrity by laying a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Peter Pellegrini also took in a panoramic view of Baku and was briefed on the historical significance of the Alley of Martyrs. The visit included an overview of the redevelopment efforts that have been undertaken in the capital city.
