Baku: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev has been awarded the 'Heydar Aliyev' Order, APA reports. President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan signed a decree to honor Mirziyoyev with this prestigious award.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the award was conferred upon Mirziyoyev for his outstanding contributions to the development of relations of friendship, brotherhood, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. The 'Heydar Aliyev' Order is one of the highest forms of recognition in Azerbaijan, given to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service and contribution to the nation and its international relationships.
