President of Uzbekistan Sends Congratulatory Letter to President Ilham Aliyev

Tashkent: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to Trend News Agency, the letter marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

In his letter, President Mirziyoyev expressed his sincere congratulations to President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan, highlighting the significant developments in bilateral cooperation over the years. He emphasized the importance of the robust legal framework and institutional mechanisms that have been established to strengthen the relations between the two countries. The letter noted the strong bonds of friendship and regular high-level dialogues that have contributed to the progress of both nations.

President Mirziyoyev also highlighted the recent enhancement of interstate relations to a new historic stage of alliance, reflecting the political will and joint efforts of both countries. He expressed confidence that the strategic partnership, based on mutual trust and respect, will continue to grow rapidly in various areas including politics, economy, trade, transport, logistics, energy, industry, agriculture, tourism, and culture.

The letter further mentioned upcoming meetings scheduled to take place in both Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, which are expected to provide opportunities to discuss bilateral relations and regional partnership issues. President Mirziyoyev concluded his letter by wishing President Aliyev health, happiness, and success, as well as peace and prosperity for the people of Azerbaijan.
