Berlin: "More than 200 companies with German capital are currently operating in Azerbaijan," President Ilham Aliyev stated at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, as reported by APA's correspondent dispatched to Berlin. The president emphasized the successful operations of many German companies within Azerbaijan and expressed optimism about future growth.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev conveyed confidence that the number of German companies operating in Azerbaijan will increase following the day's discussions. He highlighted that mutual investment discussions are underway and specific proposals have been presented to enhance the operations of German businesses in Azerbaijan.
