Baku: President Sadyr Zhaparov announced that the signing of a treaty on allied relations represents a new stage in cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan. This announcement was made during a press statement with Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Zhaparov highlighted the significance of the treaty, describing it as a historic event. He further noted that a comprehensive package of bilateral documents was signed, focusing on various sectors, including energy, transport, cybersecurity, education, financial market regulation, and the circulation of precious metals.
