Presidential Special Representative Unveils New Development Standards for Shusha

Shusha: Aydin Karimov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, announced the development of new standards aimed at enhancing the city of Shusha. He made this announcement during his speech at the 'BBB Publication (TBC)' dialogue session, part of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Karimov highlighted the city's unique geographical challenges, noting that its location on rocky terrain, surrounded by mountains and ravines, makes rectifying any development mistakes particularly challenging. He emphasized that the approach to Shusha's development is rooted in 'learning by doing,' with coordinated efforts among public institutions, the private sector, and local communities.

Karimov expressed confidence in the progress being made, largely due to the support of the people living in Shusha. He also noted that the new standards, developed with assistance from the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, are being successfully implemented to facilitate the city's development.
